Twenty-one BW speech-language pathology graduate students participated in a service-learning program in Zambia, Africa, a transformative two-week clinical practicum providing speech and language services at a variety of sites around the country.
The dean's list for the spring 2018 semester at the University of Findlay has been announced.
Ovation Festival, BW's annual celebration of student achievement, showcased student success in research, scholarship, experiential learning, the arts and more. The signature event of the 18-day festival was the Day of Excellence, which featured student work from every school of the University through posters, displays, live presentations and performances.

Meghan Yost and Gregory Marsono received the top awards -- the Daniel J. and W.J.K. Snyder Prize -- given to the graduating senior man and women based on leadership, character and scholarship, at the annual Student Awards Celebration April 22. In all, about 75 students received nearly 90 awards and prizes for their achievements in and out of the classroom this academic year.

Nearly 2,200 community service hours -- impacting a host of nonprofits, communities and lives -- were volunteered by 87 students and nine staff during UA's 2014 Alternative Spring Break program March 24-26. The UA teams traveled to sites in South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia.
